this is the single greatest thread evar, wow you are an idiot OP
you'd take a hog of an IS over a mid-range sports car Supra???? and you want to beat your friend in some racing activities in his gtr? let me re-emphasize my point.
GET SOMETHING CHEAP!
old school civics, crx's, miata's and 240's make awesome road racing cars. If you want to beat your friend buy yourself a decent base car, spend 10g's on pure performance parts, and spend the next 5g's teaching yourself how to race. so when your friend and his over handling super car race you you can whoop his *** beause you know what the **** your're doing on a track and he's as much of a racing noob as you are a vehicle noob.
and since i have the time, let me tell you a little more about **** you obviously don't know about. Most track racing done by unskilled drivers is done in the lower-mid rpm range where tq can make or break you. The GTR is built to go around corners at a higher rate of speed not a medium or lower rate of speed, sure, when your buddie finished plowing through corners he'll be able to get on the gas and power out but by then you'll be winding your way through the gears and pulling ahead (assuming you get educated on how to race a car) but since logic seems to fail you
