Let's take it from the top, because details are important. About a week ago, my passenger side window wouldn't go all the way up so i rolled it all the way down and bang. Broken regulator. Still hear the motor spinning though. So I go ahead and buy the whole assembly ($50.17 off Amazon) and install it. Went to go roll the regulator down but nothing happened. Check the 20A fuse and 40A relay they are both fine. Not sure how to check the harness which i suspect to be the problem. Could it be the switch? I tried the driver side and passenger side switch still nothing :banghead:

Some one help? Please?

Running Cable? As in power to the door? i thought about just forcing it down to mount my window but i was scared i was going to damage the motor. Will try in the Morning. Also will be poking around with my DVOM.

K, check easy.

Got old motor that spins? I hope?

Both dr & pass switches fail, right?

Loosen door panel, keep plugged in!
Isnew motor plugged in?
Yup? Try switches again while wigglin?
If works, fuct connector, several fixes here starting w/ bend out brass ****.
If don't work, plug in old motor.
Work? Dead new m motor.
Nope? Switch power prob.

I predict, not plugged in. Maybe ama-zone don't work.

Neither motor worked. And when i hit the switches with my test light at the motor connector it lit up on both sides. How? I guess both motors could be burnt out but the old one was working when the regulator first broke. I really don't know anymore.

Going to see if i can hard wire it from the battery or something.

Might have to hand this one over to someone else ... Great more money.

So with a test lite it works, both switches, both directions, at the connector, both wires?

Set dvom to resistance, check ohms of motors. Open?

Hook wires to battery and jam them into motor. Run?

Yes both wires.

Both motors work when i put power and ground to them. I managed to mount my window and roll it up in time for work.

I'm thinking its the connector. Thinking about just cutting it off and hard wiring it but idk if thats my problem

Sounds like a connector is it.

Motor works
Wire works
Leaves what brings them together.
