So you got a second flash...lucky bastard lol.

But why do you need a V4 receiver? Don't Nikons have the Commander feature built into their bodies/flash units for ocf?

the higher end nikons do but it doesn't work too well in bright outdoors or over far distances (like >20ft). I use commander mode whenever I can but keep my cactus v2 as backup.

yea i just stayed away from unreliable stuff but stayed on a budget
if the v4s didnt come out i prolly would have waited for more money

i was testing the v4s for about 30 minutes and i didn't have one misfire
the only thing that happen is that the strobe went off when i put it in the reciever's hotshoe

there's also a 28-105 USM but its the f/4-5.6 version lens that i found for about half that price, which would you guys recommend....

150 isnt too much for a pretty decent lens like that

is there a big difference between the two lenses though? the one for half the price has a slightly different F stop, but the "mm" is the same
