trying to get a good reflection off the phone's screen...it looked fine on the camera's screen. and i was doing em fast. 55mm lens on a short extension tube at minimum focus distance at f/1.4 was already down near 1/40s shutter, plus holding both the cam and phone at the same time...at least it was just a product shot :lawl:

Sounds like a good time for aperture priority!

Natural light, standard cheap-o sheet of printer paper, WB adjusted to the paper.

Find anything cool to shoot tomorrow?

is printer paper considered close enough to "18% gray"? on my monitor...that lens looks like "egg shell" white or certain kinds of vanilla ice cream

On my color corrected laptop screen, it appears the same color as I've always seen them in real life. I still think the ones at NatCam were dirtier... like how light plastic gets over the years with dirt stains...

And no, I didn't even look yet. My uneventful Friday evening turned into fairly eventful, from a only-foam keg to hitting deer and everything in between, including a DUI arrest on my way home on 94 westbound (not me :D)

It depends on the printer paper actually. On how "bright" it is. standard paper is only 92-98 white. I use 102-108 here at my work.
