70-200 2.8 IS aka "your lens" is getting ordered next week.

It depends on the printer paper actually. On how "bright" it is. standard paper is only 92-98 white. I use 102-108 here at my work.

This is probably in the low 90's or so. Cheap stuff from Target or Office Max probably.

I got a media pass to the D1GP event here in Miami the week after next, I can't wait.

How do you go about getting a media pass for an event in general?

I went to the media section of their site and filled out a request and explained that I was a student photographer, I guess they were cool with that because they just emailed me thanking me for my interest in the event and that I got put onto their media contact list. They said I'll get another email in a week with all the detailed info and whatnot. I'm excited hehehe

I'm not expecting too much over my XTi, but I wanted a bigger, tougher chassis to hold me over until I can scrape the funds together for a 5D2

yet another bird species in my yard...a pair of scarlet tanagers were outside. got a pic of the male...

ive lost count of birds ive never seen before...its at about 5 new ones so far this year...
