I really think my next purchase is going to be a pair of Vivitar 285hv's and a Cactus V4 set-up. Should be fun to mess around with on the cheap before spending the money on the Alienbees.
Do the AlienBees' CyberSyncs work with TTL?

I'm mad.

I paid for 2-4 day shipping when I ordered my multi-coated Hoya UV filter from Adorama last week so it would get here before my lens would. I just got notice today that the package was "undeliverable" and will be shipped back to the seller "if possible." WTF does that mean? I called Adorama customer service and got some bitch with an attitude on the phone telling me she couldn't help me. This is crap. I'd really like some protection for my lens when I'll be shooting drifting cars with smoke and tire chunks flying around all day for the next two days. Lets pray my lens and backpack get here tommorow. Guess the filter can wait.

adorama sucks...they are mildly cheaper...for a reason

Yeah, this is the first time I've had a problem with Adorama. I always order from them because thery're a tad cheaper than B&H and I never had any issues up until now. But I guess I can't blame them for a shipping problem either.

Anyone using wireless flash triggers? I'm looking at the Cactus V4, but I just realized that it doesn't transmit TTL info :(

Is there any hope for Canon users that want Wireless flash triggers w/ttl?

I hear nothing but good things about Pocket Wizards.

Today was a wonderful day. :D

My Lowepro Flipside 300 showed up, my 77mm Hoya Multi-coated UV filter showed up after that (thank god!), and then my 70-200 2.8 IS showed up ten minutes after that. Then I had to work 2-10pm... so I didn't really get a chance to take any good shots.

bwahahahahahaha

Nice. I've had that happen in a few cases where the company will suck at shipping it, but ship it like 1 day air or overnight to get it there when they said they would :D

Stop taunting us and post some pics!

lol it's cool. The weather sucks though. 99% chance it's going to pour tommorow at D1GP so IDK what I'm gonna do. Hold an umbrella over the camera or something. haha
