adoramapix is decent on price when there are no sales. i have their emails sent to me so i always know when their sales are. you can buy $50 worth of pics (prepaid) on sale and keep that price locked in for later.

Got my Cactus V4 kit today!!!

Boy, manual flash is a lot harder than just using auto ETTL. Came out with a lot of super bright pics. Need to get a diffusor or some omnibounce type thing.

Any advice for using manual flash for a newb? I have an XTi and a 430EX.

Stop down the aperture a lot, when I am using strobes or off camera flash, I usually start at about F9

take test exposures
start the flash at minimum power with the camera at "desired" settings
remember the old addages about guide numbers and bounce compensation

basically...just mess with it....

what about shutterfly? According to their site, if I do the prepaid plan, I can get 600 photos for $60. I'm not sure about the quality of the pictures thats why I'm hesitant.

never dealt with them

maybe order like 10-20 small ones and see how they turn out and look how much they mess with em?

lol i took german in hs...I swear the teacher passed me b/c she felt bad. This is what I remember.

Nach der schule, Ich muss zu hause helfen fur meine mutti

And even that, I'm pretty sure is wrong lol
