Wow, those are really good, I don't really have anything bad to say about them... IMO, I think the lighting is great; very bright and cheerful, yet dark and romantic at the same time. Your skills have really come a long way dude! BTW, what lens did you shoot with? I'm forgetting...

Thanks man! It was b/w the kit 18-55 IS lens (the one I picked up for $50!!!) and my nifty fifty 50 f/1.8. Not sure if I should spring for the 50 f/1.4 or get a shorter/longer fast prime (35mm f/1.8 or 85mm f/1.8)

I dunno, I think the advantages of the 50/1.4 aren't worth the money. Both the 35/1.8 and 85/1.8 would be good lenses to get. Once I start shooting with a prime I can't stop! The low light abilities are just too ridiculous.

Hmm what about the 50mm f/1.8 MkI? The metal mount one? I think my nifty fifty is losing sharpness. Plus I heard that the f/1.4 has more aperture blades, so the bokeh is a little smoother.

Yea, I saw someone at B&H recently, he had an old 20D with a new 100mm macro prime. Took a picture of me and showed it to me. It was gorgeous! Def want to invest in some primes.
