wondering if keeping the 11-16 tokina for my full frame upgrade is going to be better than having to try to sell the lens and losing some money off of it...hmm...i NEED the ultra wide for club gigs, soooo. hm, any input?

as far as i'm aware, the sigma/tamron/pentax 12-24s were the only ones but with vignetting up to...14mm i think.

seems like the 11-16 is only usable at 16mm
and the 12-24 are only useful over 18mm.
at that point, id get something like a 20-35...16mm on full frame is absolute ridiculousness. your hand on the camera can get in the shot

wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much post processing to judge a lens' quality...
so an 11-16/2.8 on full frame...youd basically just be carrying a large 16/2.8 my 16/2.8 is heavy because its all metal but its not too large. oh...FF compatible

yea its big, but the 14-24 is double the weight and has a hefty price tag. we shall see in the long run what happens to the tokina...wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much post processing to judge a lens' quality...

14-24 is expensive cause its worth it. but its big and heavy.

oh yes dont get me wrong, being a wide guy the 14-24 has been my grail lens since i learned about it
but i am going to have a problem on the long end but i cant even dream of using the 70-200 2.8 enough to buy that...but this might be what i need
