Picked up an Eibach Pro-System and I have a few questions

I have the full prokit system minus sway bars. I find it to be a very good DD setup. I have owned a few cars dropped more, I have worked on, drove and basically raced a whole lot of setups. People hate Prokit springs but they are really good for a DD. It makes it look about the height our cars should have been from the factory which isn't bad because it rides great, doesn't bottom out, etc, like a new car.

Just saying that because any thread with "Prokit" will have more than a few "get coilover" responses. I bet half these people will ride a stock car at my age and the ones who don't will be on Prokits or similar (my brothers Infinity looks great and rides perfectly on these springs). Or you have two cars. Either way, don't let people discourage you if you are happy. If not, ride high until you can afford otherwise. I wouldn't go lower without coilovers myself.

Finally someone else whos not discouraged by everyone else saying "get coilovers". I plan on getting my kit soonish. Did you measure the actual drop vs claimed? just wondering exactly what I should be expecting

I didn't measure but seemed about accurate.

I have personally been on Pro Kit springs for quite awhile (approaching a decade). That's longer than most people have owned there car on the forum. Not saying everyone will be happy with springs but for some of us, we have done the slammed thing before and isn't worth all the negatives, especially on this particular car platform.

looks way better. sportlines will kill your shocks just start saving and get some coils

It is an amazing DD setup. The ride is great for crusing and the car is planted when turning, I couldn't be happier with the Pro-System.

I own a CB7 and it is lowered on Sportlines and GR2's. It still rides nice, but I hate how careful I have to drive in areas with pot-holes, speed bumps, and drainage dips to keep it from scraping.

I didn't measure it, I didn't even take the time to take before pictures...

I really doubt that. This car is a DD that I drive quite a bit and I enjoy the nice ride and not having to worry about scraping.

I remember when I adamantly believed that.

GR2's are essentially OE replacements, and Sportlines give a 2" drop front and rear. So if that thing is scraping, something is wrong haha. I was content with the ride my Yellows + Sportlines gave, nothing wrong with a good spring and shock combo. But if you switch wheels down the road and stuff like that, chances are you will want to have that flexibility. But for now, just enjoy what you have.

Haha, I will admit I have though about it, but I only work part time so money is tight and sadly coils are not in budget :/

As for the CB7's suspension, I have seen people run the G2's with Sportlines and have no issues. I only recently bought the car and drove it maybe a total of 10miles since, so maybe it was just my neighborhood with our inverted speed bumps around every single corner

No, I am running the Pro-System which includes new struts as well as the springs.
