Pioneer Radio Doesnt always turn on with Car

Hey guys, I have a quick question. I resently upgraded the head unit in my car. i purchased the Pioneer 6200bt. I installed the radio and the unit was working ok. I noticed that the radio will not turn on with the car all of the time. I have to push the power button to get it on. I returned the radio because it wasnt working with my iPhone and purchased the 7300bt. The radio is doing the same thing, it doesnt turn on with the car all the time. Any ideas on what this could be?? I wondering if i did something wrong but im not sure. Any ideas would be great. thanks in advance.

Yeah I did. I have all of the wires in.

cant hurt to double check: ground, +12 ignition wire and +12 battery wire. harness could be loose, make sure all the wires on the connector are making contact and all the places where you soldered or crimped are making contact. I have a pioneer 3200dvd and it turns without me touching it.

yeah, you NEED to double check the connections at this point (unless there's a setting in the headunit that allows you have it stay turned off till you manually turn it on...check the manual for that).

print out the diagram posted above, take it out to the car, and check them off as you go.

the only thing you need to worry about is not touching the orange wire. only connect orange/white to orange/white regardless of labels.

as far as I know theres no setting to keep it off or any other wires needed besides the battery and ignition and ground i had a similar problem with my CB7 turned out my battery wire was bad somewhere along the line so i just ran a constant power source to it from fuse block...
