it's not going to fit..body shop said it will have to be cur in half..each half lined up around the headlamps then on the fenders then refiberglassed back together in order for everything to line up & gaps to be fine...I emailed the company pictures and I called them they keep telling me take it to the body shop and have them fit it that it fits perfect that they put them on all the time..well like I said the body shop said no way in hell this will fit without it being cut..

Get it in writing from your body shop maybe and mail it to them...

Out of curiosity (because I've never tried something like that) would there be any difference in the width like that between the 98-00 and the 01-02's? I know the hood's are a little different... is there a chance they mis marked one or something? I know it's been asked before whether it was right or not, but maybe the company made the mistake, not you...

yes the 98-00 bumpers are different than 01-02 bumpers..but the company swears up and down they put these bumpers on 01-02 regulary with no problems and they only have one mold for this bumper therefore only offer it in 98-02

are they freakin' serious?? why don't they come down to your place and have them put that geez... plus you even sent them a picture for them to see.. that is just sad to hear... i mean i bet you could pay the extra $$ for the body shop to do that but if there has to be some cutting and some other extra stuff to be done to it that won't be fair right...

and I know for 100% fact that I did not make the mistake when i order I specificly mention this was for a 2001 honda accord 4DR and I also mentioned that 98-00 bumper will not fit 01-02 models when I ordered and they said not to worry it will fit with no problems.

The cheapest body shop I found wants $400 to fit the front bumper since all the work that will need to be done in order for it to fit..cutting, fiberglassing, molding..etc..another body shop quoted me at close to $800..the freight company quoted me at $295 in order to have it back to florida within 2 days which is the deadline to have it returned for my money.
