hey guys i need help i was installing springs on my passenger side and the axel came out of the block and i cant put it back in and i tried to remove the axel bolt from the hub but its stuck and wont come off what should i do


edit problem solved i got the springs in good it just is still high i got a 2" drop all around and it still sits kinda high

Line up the spline on the axle and shove it back it until you hear it click. A mallet can help too.

To get the 36mm axle nut off, you'd need a long breaker bar or jump on the wrench like I do.

in the instructions it said that i need to cut the stock bump stops. is this necessary? cuz the car is really high still

the car needs to settle a little bit. give it a few days.

okay but in the instructions it said something about cutting the bumps in half?? and i didnt do that is it needed?

if it's brand new, let it settle. meaning, just wait about 2-weeks and it'll slowly become lower which the springs will be softer.

YES CUT THE BUMP STOPS IN HALF.

this is the case with pretty much all the aftermarket setups I've seen.

how im sorry im a big noob when it comes to suspension and would it make it a lil lower?....

you cut them before you assemble the struts and springs....


you don't need the full length bumpstop with the lowering springs, and it may just cause the shock to "bottom out" prematurely.

but no, it has nothing to do with the stance of the car.
