I think it's more like 170+whp with better off-the-line gearing, versus 200whp (how are you achieving this? not with the J30 I assume.), slightly taller gearing (guessing here), and 250lbs more weight.

$50 on Ken.

:hihi:

Agreed.

RJ: Look at the bright side, that 6sp. trans. I'm putting in your car is lighter than the auto... but I'll still be faster. :action-smiley-042:

EDIT: The gears are a direct swap. No machining was required when I performed this myself. Just swap both F23 5th gears in place of the H23 5th gears.

I wonder if the p2a8 trans (6g Accord f23a1) is more similar to the older DOHC trans.

I've got the trans that originally came with my '01 Accord ex sedan. Rosko mailed me a mystery box of gears two years ago and I swapped out my final with a 4.266, and used a 1.32 h23a1 third, 1.034 fourth, and a 0.7878787 fifth.

It appears that he mailed me a h23a1 gears and a JDM f22 gears?

The 0.685 fifth that I removed from my p2a8 trans looks identical to the 0.812 fifth (in terms of height.)
