problems!

Hey guys, I haven't been on for awhile cause I went on a vacation for a month. Now that Im back I got some problems

Anyways, I left my car at home for a month. Now that Im back, I started the car up and it started revving by itself. The needle would go between 1k rpm and 2k rpm. I thought it was due to the fact that I left it for a month without anyone starting it. So I left it there for about 15 mins and now the check engine light popped on. I searched forums and Im guessing its because of the IACV. not really sure though...

Another problem was before I left. My car stock alarm stopped working. The key remote still works but there is no sound. And also the alarm light stays on when I lock the car. No more blinking.

Any idea guys? (btw my engine is stock v6)

I would pull the code just to be sure but it sounds like iacv needs a good cleaning.

Im planning to go to Autozone so they can pull up the code. Hopefully I just need to clean my Iacv.

ok so it turns out it was because of the Iacv.
time to clean it outt.

As for the alarm. I believe that it's in a valet mode?
Idk how it got set to it but I have no clue how to return it back to normal. Anyone know how to reset factory alarm?
