this might be dumb since i dont know what type of area you live in or anything but i would say remove the ecu(that is if your parents wont start it every month) just incase since it will be sitting for a while. alot of theives go for a car they know will be sitting in the same spot they saw it sitting for months in a row

only thing i can think of that'll save you some trouble would just be to disconnect the negative terminal. that's why they said to start the car every month. :gride:
anyway other than that im not sure. i've seen tired deflated...not sure what the deal is on that though, i've heard to leave it on jack stands but i don't think that'll help.

actually no, i hear keep the gas tank full just so you don't create mold in the tank... just put fuel stabilizer in it... thats what i do with my bike... full tank of fresh gas with fuel stabilizer..

lift it off its wheels just so u dont get flat spots, unplug the battery and cover (not necessary but recommended especially if your parking it out doors)

I was in your situation last year, this year Im taking my car to school. Fortunately for me my parents said if i cleaned out the junk from the garage I could store it there. Definitely disconnect the battery, car cover would be nice too.

Just put a car cover on it, no need for any extreams. If ur not going more than 12months u be fine. Just take out battery, store in a cool place

I would store thw battery somewhere cool, trunk would probaby get too hot. And heat kills batteries, u just dont know until u try to start ur car in cold weather.

fill up on fuel, put fuel stabilzer, disconnect the battery and take it off, take off all tires, put your car on jack stands (so itll be harder for thieves), put a car cover and call it a day
