Oh nah, I can do it myself. I RARELY take my car to shops. Unless it's muffler related or alignments. Practically did the 5spd swap myself. Had help with my uncle tho... I just wasn't sure what you meant by aligning it as close as possible or something. Didn't make sense. Can you elaborate?

BTW, I'm getting a Seibon CF OEM coupe hood.

Haha perfect we all have coupes.

they're not too hard to align. but it also depends on the quality of the hood. i've had 3 CF hoods, last to fit perfect and a little tweaking. my newest one is super old and can't fit perfect

when linning the hood up and bolting it down is a process

first u mark the position of bolts on bracket

then remove old bolts and remove hood

then position new cf hood and try and put hood in same positon as preivious hood by matching previously made bolt marks on hindge u just made

then lower hood if the corners in rear match up with fender curves and gaps look ok front shld look good too

if somthing is off try and adjust the position of bolts to move direction u want

if u bottom out in bracket side to sie(for gaps btw hood and fenders) then u can adjust fenders to get the prefered gap

I pit my hood on in the dark and somehow I got it right the first time. You shouldn't have a problem with VIS its a quality brand and it'll align fine.
