Question about changing auto shifter

Since the Prelude shifter has the + and - can we use that on the car too? Or will it become non-functional?

no, only if you wanted to do a full swap of the prelude transmission, ecu, and harnesses. if you install one you just get the + - gate that does nothing when you bump the gears, youll just stay in d4 when in that gate.

yeah TL shifters work too, any shifter 99-03 tl or 01-03 cl will work, but the 1999 is the only one where the gears on the shifter will match the gear you're in, since 1999 was 4spd and after that it was 5spd, i have an 03 in my car with an 07 knob and it works fine, D5 is D4 in my car
