trust me, ive had all kinds of projector for different car. ebay projectors, including tyc's have terrible cut off line+out put. therefore, hid in them might improve on output(not necessarily focused) and glare(due to dull cutoff line) will blind oncoming traffic.

ehh not 100% true haha...yes the output is horrible on ebay projectors..but the cutoff on my halo headlights was actually not that bad...but like i said the output was AWFUL!!!!!!

Which projectors did you buy? if i was you i would either stay stock or get a retrofit..and if you see my sig i prefer retro :D

be like it is
oem is decent if the right bulb goes into it.

aka: a 9006 or 9012 HIR bulb. it says HB3 and HB4 on the front of the lens to signify Halogen Bulb.

btw i told you (and others too) that a higher K will give you less light, and that means no matter what you put them in--flashlight or ls430 projector. 4100-4300k is the most natural light for our eyes.

i have OEM blackhoused headlamps with 6500 or 7000K HID kit, i forgot which (it's the light blue/ice white white) the output is great, the glare is not all bad at all. i have people who i've driven behind vouch and people from oncoming see it.

HIDs are not bad in OEM headlights. don't get it twisted.

ebay projectors are POS garbage. i had them while i had my OEM headlights worked on. OMIGOD, they were the biggest pos ever. i couldn't see ****, i had to use chinese people peripheral vision to see. i really had to squint. i adjusted the lights and DAMN, i could not see. i didn't drive a lot at night because of those. so PLEASE do not support homo ebay projector companies by buying anymore.

throw whatever K HIDs into your OEM headlights. re-aim them and then BAM! you're Toretto from Fag and the Furious.

aiming down...lol

the DOT has standards for a reason, and they call them "standards" for a reason.

i couldnt imagine driving with lights pointed down. might as well wear sunglasses. function over form ftw

edit:
i have people who i've driven behind vouch and people from oncoming see it.
ive been in both situations as well. i hate it.

Seriously..you can not truly say that there is not a bad glare for HIDs in stock housing...i have known a few people that had them and it was awful in every car, not just accords...HOWEVER the worst was in TYC because the guy had them aimed all the way up..Projectors can be bad also, but atleast they are meant for HIDs, just gotta make sure they are aimed right

But whatever, people will still think HID is OEM is ok..retrofit club FTW

I also have Halo lights as a backup..well kinda..they are apart right now because i am going to mess around with them when i am bored
