sorry for the n00b question. just curious where a good place would be to put a jackstand on the left rear side. i don't have a jack big enough to fit under the tow hook in the back to jack it up so the left jack point is out of the question.

There is a jack point right in front of the wheel, under the door. It's 3/8" thick steel bar.

This is finch13, not noob ericthecheat :D

EDIT: So you can use the jack point OR the rear tow hook?

Drive up on some 2x4's, good hint Lemmie. Can also use the scissor jack in the trunk to give you a little boost before you use the big jack.

I don't have a big jack thats the problem cause i can't actually jack it up enough from anywhere other then the jack point on the back left. its a small jack and at its highest point its just barely high enough to lift the rear end about in inch or two.

oh... use the scissor jack and put a 2x4 on the small jack. sounds like its time to pick up a bigger jack on the cheap
