why do you want a rear strut bar? why not get a rear sway? the two towers are already connected, if you are that desperate to get more out of the upper sway bar get it stitch-welded

a rear strut tower bar on 6g's, coupe or sedan, is about as useless as a second pair of underwear. on both models, theyre already connected, at the top at that, by the body of the car. its also pretty hard to fit any type of bar back in that area anyway.

brackets like you can see in the trunk hole, in the pic on page 2, would stiffen up the rear tower area much better than any type of tower bar. a c pillar bar would also help im sure, but ive only seen people use those in coupes. i also noticed that the car stiffened up a bit when i installed my harness bar.

wait..wait...let me get this right.

so...you wanted some information without trying to look for that yourself at all, and then complain about people who are fed up with spoonfeeding?

or are you pissed off at the fact that nothing would come free without you trying at all?

strut tower bars are pretty much just aesthetic upgrades in most cars. sway bars are a lot better when it comes to performance.

I think struts do help a tiny bit when combined with other suspension upgrades, otherwise why would some OEM cars come with it?

The OP wasn't the one complaining. it was some other guy.

But back on topic. Strut bars are kinda like I/H/E. they are there making a very small difference. but hardly noticable.

good ones make a difference, ****ty ones dont.

the rear won't make a **** bit of difference since the factory already installed one
