The problem with a seal being worn out and leaking is, it could get severe at any moment and leak very badly while ur on the road somewhere.
how much oil are you losing? Ill do it instantly if its that price. haha..
im not losing much thats why im not doing it yet. i see no oil on the ground or anything. i have alot of problems with my car. first i need to fix engine mount (front is broken). second i need to clean out ivac or how ever you spell that thing. my car revs when i stop blah. 3rd i need to replace my rear shocks. my friend said my tire bounce when i drive in the freeway. i dont got the $$$
to fix everything at once. i just got a new or refurb transmission for 1.2k.
Sorry, but it sounds like you let everything build up at once. There is a little saying "Do a little now or a lot later".
If you just got a new transmission, they SHOULD have changed the Main seal. If they didnt, i would demand they do it. The main seal is always changed when doing a clutch or changing transmissions.
I would try to clean your IACV
Definitely change your front motor mount. Try a local junk yard for pennies on the dollar.
Shocks the same way....junk yard. Shouldnt cost you that much.
There is a DIY for everything on on here that you need to do, except the main seal. If it is even that. Check with your mechanic to see if he changed it. He should have, even if he has a brain the size of a pea...
