basically my auto trans was rebuilt umm like 3 years ago at 103k i'm at 129k. I was changing the fluid every 3 oil changes so about every 7 months ( I do my oil changes every 2 1/2 months).

Honda advisor at the dealer tells me you dont need to do it so often ?

Should i continue with my own personal schedule or just once a year has he advises ?

If you wanna baby it, keep doing it every 7 months...again i'd say just do once a year.

PS. You can edit your own posts instead of making one after another with a continuation of your previous comments

My professional opinion says the standard maintenance interval is fine, but just remember, all fluids start breaking down the moment they're first used. Granted, they're designed to last their service interval, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with changing the fluid as much as you want.

Replacing fluids at regular intervals is CHEAP maintenance.

You know whats funny, my toyota avalon says the transmission fluid should not need to be changed under normal driving circumstances. Is it just for dextronIII or what? I find that funny.

This. Service intervals are fine to follow for cars that aren't known for problem areas imo. But for a car that is known for having trans issues I would short the service interval. I do a drain and fill every 2 oil changes or 6k miles (so twice a year). And this is the second car I've owned that was known for trans issues for which I've shorted the interval, and it worked out well the first time (94 Taurus 3.8 lol), and time will tell with the Accord.
