Yeah I said it, time to make the first official "club" on this forum


Not to signal you guys out but this is strictly for the retrofitters on the site, not HID stock replacement kits.

If you have pictures of your retrofit, please post them, becuase I know we all are interested in seeing them. I'll have pictures up soon. I finally found my camera.

I have TSX projectors with 4200k D2S bulbs, blue custom CCFL with a custom shroud, retrofitted with a TYC lens.

##### RULES #####

How do I get into the coolest club on this forum? Simple look at these rulez:
1. Well, I'm # 1
2. Must have OEM projector headlights from another car.
3. #2 must be mounted and custom retrofitted in your headlights.
4. HIDs must have ballast w/ external or internal igniters
5. Must have d2s or d2r bulbs
6. May not be "HID kits" in stock housings.
7. TYC "projectors" are not permitted, even with "HID kit" bulbs. (they do not resemble creativity)
8. Its not hard to get into just do a retrofit

#05 with E36 projectors and D2s bulbs with no working ballasts atm cuz it blow. looking for some gen 3s with ballasts covers.

would have them in, but got ripped off on the set i bought. cant sell em, cant get my money back...dont have money for better ones...missed a pair of tsx's for $100 by 5 minutes...missed a set of s2k's for $150 by 5 minutes...couldnt get the ones i have to work properly (they suck *** no matter what)...having hids has been an absolutely horrible experience, and theyre not even on the car. might as well sell it all to fund my audio projects.

I wouldn't sell them. I'd start to retrofit them. If not, save up and send them down to customlightz.

I'd buy some new slim densos. They're the thinest and best ballast you can buy for the money.
