Retrofit Manual Climate Control with Auto

While sitting in traffic my eyes lit on my manual climate control. And I wondered...

Anyone know if the auto climate control unit (79600-S84-A41ZA) is harness/bolt-compatible with the manual control (79600-S84-A01ZA)? I realize the bezel would need to be changed from 77250-S84-A01ZA to 77250-S84-A11ZA.

Speculating verboten! I want feedback from someone who's done the deed!

this has been talked about plenty of times. you have to wire-in/rewire stuff is what it comes down to, basically. it's not a direct swap, and i don't think anyone has ever done it.
