I ran electric gauges in my Neon when I was turboed so i didn't have to worry about fuel in the car. :)

I didn't know Hondas use a return line, now I do. :) Can I permanently put a fuel pressure gauge on the stock return line or did you have to fab something up?

That's awesome about your A/F gauge, i don't think i've seen that done before.

Have you looked into a lower degree thermostat? What about 1 step colder spark plugs? That stuff will help with detonation.

Additionally, i dunno if you can do this with Hondas, but I know the Dodge guys run a head shim in order to drop compression. This allows them to run more boost without as much chance of detonating. I think there was a guy with a Neon that was running 18psi daily with a stock bottom end and a head shim..

Have you ever looked into Megasquirt? Once again i'm coming from the Dodge side but the guys who use it says it's probably the best tuning tool out there. It basically lets you tune EVERYTHING and it's about 400 bucks. I dunno if they make 'em for Hondas, but they might.

3 words, carbon fiber hood.

Itll compliment your lip, lip looks out of palce without a cf hood. Kinda like wearing designer shoes while wearing sweats.

I agree, it always looked a bit out of place. With the grill and the lip, CF hood would fit nice. And i don't even like CF so it must be the way to go :D

so i havent updated much, ive been too busy to do anything with my car til the summer, but i managed to take care of the last major mod to my car before a) tuning and b) the engine build.

i installed the h23 intake manifold, which is not bolt on, not easy to install nor does it actually fit the f23.

in order to get it to fit, i had to grind an inch out of the actual manifold, i had to use epoxy to seal the thermostat to the water pipe and a lot of the modifications are still iffy, as the car is heating up a little too much and im not 100% that its all worked.

what i do know is that the car is a lot more powerful with the new manifold, and it builds more boost faster. i dont have any videos but for refference, recent races include:

supercharged e36 m3 (took him in 1st and 2nd, and by 3000 in 3rd, he had me)
some modded 350z (he got the jump but i pulled on, and passed him pretty fast)
honda crx with b swap (had no change, launched at 2500 and saw headlights behind me after 1st gear.

the car needs to be tuned, its dying to breath and run better, i just need to make sure 100% im comfortable throwing it on a dyno. that will mean new oil lines and maybe a new clutch.

i thought upgrading to a stage 3 clutch masters clutch would do the job, but its slipping a ton. i htink ill have to get a 6puck metal clutch.

ok, its been a long long time since i so much as touched my car, let alone drove it.

i blew my stage 3 clutchmasters clutch last summer, and now have a stage 5 act 6 puck, which 5 miles after installing, blew up my master cyl and clutch line.

only just ordered new ones, and will be installing next week... i hate HATE doing clutch and transmission work.

however, once done, i will get her cleaned up, and get some new photos taken, as, well... its been far too long since my car graced my cameras memory chip.

its still running great, been running with no issues for nearly 3 years with the turbo, and on the same tune. replaced the injectors last summer to some blue top dsm 450cc's and as said, installed the h23 intake mani, which made things even more fun.

not much more done since then. as i stated above, i replaced the oil lines, the oil pan, and all the other crappy stuff that had been sitting needing seeing to.

the car was running like a champ when i last drove her, no knocks, no misfiring, no starting issues or sputtering.. not a damn thing. perfect A/F ratio... couldnt ask for any more from her!

i also solved both my running rich issues, and the fact that i was burning a ton of freakin oil, due to the poor oil lines i had installed originally. with the new stuff, the car is perfect. again, ill have some photos soon!
