Rotor housing(?) deformation?

Took this pic when I was having a tire patched. This is front right of car.

Arrow points at what seems like a deformation - sure doesn't look like it was designed to be that way. What is this part? Is this deformation a problem?

don't think the bend is part of the design :lawl:

prob got hit by a rock or something

as long as it doesn't scrape on the rotor, u're fine

LOL, yeah, that's what I figured.

Cool, I don't hear any scraping, so I'm just going to leave it alone. Thanks.

Don't feel bad. I wondered the same thing while doing my 5 lug conversion. I just figured it was supposed to be like that when they all had the same "deformation".

Thanks guys. I guess I'll see it for myself when I get around to replacing the brake pads.
