did you get the front too?

Looks good, too bad it's fiberglass.

The thing is that I couldn't even do this if it wasn't. If it was poly, the sides would work but that is the only thing I don't have any worries about. I could have feasably done the rear but it might be more likely to crack. The front, no way. Not that I am near done with the front, atleast it actually fits and can be bolted on now.

Just for everyone, this probably won't be done for awhile. I always get way more done than I think when I have the time but it is a bunch of work, no weekends anymore so unless work slows down (somewhat likely), it will be awhile before it is anywhere close to be ready for paint.

looks awesome Matt.

I was in the process of doing some plastic surgery with my lip too, following the idea of a photoshop you posted up a while ago. Too bad i hit a big piece of tire on my way to work today and shattered the thing.

Matt, is yours a mugen lip with the holes filled? I was going to do that awhile ago. It looks/looked good. That sucks man.

yeah it was my mugen lip with the holes filled... but its dead now, that thing litterally exploded as it hit the truck tire on the freeway. must have been over half the tire in the road, and it was laying long ways across the road so i couldn't really dodge it. o well, im waiting to see if that polyurethane mugen lip ive been reading about is going to be worth it or not when it is finally released.

Ok, I got alot of work done yesterday and today. It's now structually done, before the "end caps" weren't very strong. I reinforeced those.

I am pretty much done "shaping" it but i may make some changes. I feel the top line is a bit high. It could look a bit better. I may or may not change this as it HAS to cover up the fake lip lines on the stock bumper.

Now I just need to do body work. It shouldn't be hard but I am not exactly inspired to do it, plus I can't afford to paint it right now. I don't know when it will be 100% done, I could realistically be done in 2 days (including the unpainted side), I am a bit warn out though.

New Pics....

Don't mind my wheels/car being VERY dirty. I tend to either have my car clean or I don't care because I am too involved working on it.
