Yes it's RWD. Yes it's a manual. Yes it has a turbo. No, it's not your grandaddy's Caddy. :lawl:

Updated 10/9/2020

Gray = retired mods
----------------

Well after a long search for a luxury sport sedan that would tick all the right boxes for the right price, I finally found what I wanted. I flew out to pick it up, then drove 13 hours home.

It's a 2014 Cadillac ATS 2.0T RWD Performance with a 6spd manual. White Diamond Pearl on Morello Red. All I've done so far are clear sidemarkers up front, and Vsport floormats inside. Next is the OEM lip kit and some wheels, and an ATS-V trunk spoiler.

Don't worry, the Accord is still around. :)

Much to my surprise the aftermarket isn't too bad, at least for the list of things I plan to do to it. Good amount of options for aesthetic and performance mods for the 2.0T, the V6's not so much.

Thanks, it has been interesting learning a new car.

Re: RR's 2014 ATS

That's a really nice looking Opel. Did they knock 50% off the price? I only mention that, as I saw an article on how much the ATS and the CTS loose in value after 1 year. They said it gets worse after 2 years. :O
Don't feel bad, I just paid off my 06 Chevy Silverado in December, and it's lost another 600 in value (it's got 74K on it, with the 4.3 V6 and AT).
But seriously, nice looking car. Going off pics of your Accord, it should really look good with a lip kit and different rims.:)

Re: RR's 2014 ATS

As far as I know the only Cadillac that ever shared an Opel badge was the Catera, and actually I think only Buicks have been Opels since. But I could be wrong, I am new to owning a GM car. But yea the depreciation is horrendous, that's why you don't buy one new haha. I bought this car for maybe half of what it was new a few years ago. Crazy but good for me as I never buy brand new cars, and I keep them forever. So I'm feeling pretty good, it's a lot of car for the money. But I do feel bad for people who bought one brand new, that's a big hit.

Thank you, yeah I wish I could have gotten the 18" optional wheels instead but this color combo was too amazing to pass up. But these are them, only they would have been silver (this car has the Carbon Pkg). I dig that trunk spoiler too, makes the rear end look better.

Forgive the Facebook screencap, I save stuff left and right.

By the way, congrats on paying off your truck! Such a great feeling.

Re: RR's 2014 ATS

congrats old man:waytogo: hah

See, if you think of it as an Opel, it's not an old mans car.:henry:

But yeah, it's hard to tell what was designed in the USA, and what was designed in Germany anymore. Give it a couple of years and we'll be talking about a French designed built in China car. :banghead:
