So, I've been seeing links everywhere about rustoleum paint jobs. The finished products look amazing and glossy, and I'm wondering if anyone here has done any rustoleum paint jobs, or has any insight or opinion on doing one of these jobs on your own.

All opinions welcome. (Sorry if I'm in the wrong forum, I'm still new here)

if you're looking to do a cheap re spray like the youtube "less than $100 do it yourself with stuff from lowes" videos, then i suggest you buy one of the $12 paint guns from harbor freight and get some base and clear from a local paint supplier, it can be done less than $100 that way (although i suggest good prep and the best quality stuff youre willing to buy) and come out wayyy better than all the rattle can jobs ive seen with zebra striping.

also rattle can clear coat is hard to use, i painted my wheels gunmetal with rattle cans and ended up using $17 clear coat +hardener from a local place, even with the cost of the gun i spent less than the plasti dip gunmetal wheel kit

Ultra-flat rustoleum green

Rattle-cans and turned out nice.

Yes, I had a nice shop, that I did it in, but figure ~15hrs to prep, ~5 to spray
