While you wait on the rest of your order, can you ship me those? :D I'll just be "borrowing" them.

i'll let you guys know if/when they're up for sale

as far as my engine, it is definitely f*cked
at least a blown head gasket, something to do with the camshaft and timing, possibly something with the radiator, maybe water in one of the cylinders...

if it's really bad, i'm thinking about parting out and investing in a 7th gen or maybe a prelude

or swap in an h22 like i chose! my motor was ****ing up finally at 165,000 miles, so i saved up and its swap time!

can't go wrong with a v6 6speed 7th gen accord though.

might be a bit time consuming lol can you drop an h22 in place of the j30?

sry to hear about your motor dude. how did it overheat? too much racing? lol

Nah man, that resulted in my tranny slipping lol.
But i honestly don't know how or why it over heated =/
I don't know if extreme humidity + SRI = that
But i was just doing a normal 70-75 on the free way and about 55-60 on the main roads, saw the heat gauge all the way up, freaked out, layed off the gas and it just shut off right before a parking lot.

Yeah, it helps, a little. When the needle spikes, you should always immediately shut off the engine.

You probably just have to mill the head, get a new gasket, etc. Be sure to do a pressure and leak down test, hopefully you didn't crack the block.

Man so sorry about the motor! Are you having the car looked at to figure out what it is? I'd be curious to know. Would hate to see the car go but ultimately it's about you being happy.

Even more so than the engine, I am sad about you not putting on the shocks/springs. I was going to live vicariously through you since I couldn't get my shocks/springs on yesterday.

Haha this is pretty much what the mechanic told me when i was getting it towed.
This would be my best case scenario so i hope that's all i need.
