*The hood had been messed up for a while*

So, I was on my way back to work from lunch, its about 7:45 pm... There is this back road that has a sharper turn in it... well at the apartments there in teh pic, some kids where sitting in the middle of the gate, more out that in, facing the street... I usually take the turn at 45mph; however seeing the kids threw me into Need To Slow Down mode. I pressed on teh brake, started to fishtail, grabbed teh E brake and tried to turn out of the skid... I ended up 180 degree turn, hitting that yellow sign that has the black arrow on it, then into the fence. I guess i locked up the brakes causing the complete loss of control.

Thankfully all that is hurt is the fence, sign and teh car.

never ever throw on the brake when your car starts skidding. steer and ease off the gas pedal only a credit card thickness.
and when you fish-tail especially don't brake because you're throwing weight around.
just advice for next time.

thank god you are safe. smart move avoiding the kids.

as soon as I saw the word e-brake in your post, I was like . Yeah, it's hard to do but you gotta stay calm and not slam on the brakes or anything like that and just counter steer out of it.

Sorry about the car tho. Glad no ones hurt. What you gonna do now with the car?

I'm glad to hear you are ok and no one was hurt.
As for the car - $20 says your insurance company says it is a "total loss"
Time to go car shopping!
