Hi I'm Eric. I'm from San Antonio, Texas. I drive a 2002 ex (j30a1) with a recently installed AEM cai and Helix throttle body spacer. Inside I've done the cheesy manual boot on an auto with a push down knob (no more side push button with chipping fake chrome) and blue underdash/cup holder lights.

I'm looking to EVENTUALLY lower my baby, offset rims (no more gap), full exhaust and whatever else I might like down the road.

I've been popping on and off the site as a guest for awhile reading different posts and diys. Finally decided to join.

Current problems with car:
-CEL (last I checked it was for egr port so I pulled it apart and cleaned port just haven't reset it, any help?)
-trans won't go down to D1, it stops at D2

Other than the few problems I love my Accord and numerous friends, exes and family members can justify that.

Hope to meet more Accord enthusiasts from San Antonio or surrounding areas.

Edit:

Don't mind the mess/dirt

Plasti-dipped grill and emblems

Yea I did hose wraps to try and "spruce up" the bay.
Of course you can see the AEM CAI.
You can kind of see the Taylor Helix Throttle Body Spacer.

Blue underdash lights with blue switch, installed theses years ago mostly for looking for something on he floorboard in the dark of night, but hey they look semi decent

Added the blue cup holder lights after I did the underdash lights. looks way better if a Mountain Dew bottle in the cup holder.

Off brand, push down automatic shift knob and boot.
Sony head unit
Kenwoods 3 ways in the doors
Kenwood 5 ways in the rear
I did half a Polk 8inch Sub hooked up until I blew the amp.

If you have Instagram you can follow me: whitederic
I have more pics on there and alot of me ripping it all apart.

If the problem was corrected them the light should go out, or clear it, if it comes back then there's your issue. it sounds like your 1st/2nd clutch in your trans is done, look at rebuild kits, but is your D4 light stay on when your KOEO

KOEO? Sorry still new to some of the lingo. My D4 light works fine. It doesn't flash as some people have stated or anything. Where would be the best place to check out rebuild kits?

Thanks for all the welcomes!! Added pics to the original post finally. I'm loving alot of the threads on here. So many great ideas and information. Found out yesterday it will be about $2500 for my trans rebuild. So the question comes down to......do I want to keep this car...............HELL YEA I DO!!!
It may not be the greatest right now, but it is my baby and I can't wait for the rebuild and more upgrades.

All suggestions or ideas for any upgrades are always welcome.
I've got to get my Canon T5 pulled out to go take nicer pics of my car.
