Sorry for the hijack... but is it a guarantee that an 11 year-old car w/ 99K mi. needs to be seafoamed? I run the revs up regularly, never dog it, and can't tell any difference in how strong it runs compared to when it was brand new.

Driving spirited once and a while helps keep the car running well, but it doesnt prevent carbon buildup.


If your car is running fine and idling well, then it probably does not need it right away. But it's part of a preventative maintenance.

autozone here in mass is 6.99 here and wallmart is 5.99 your just getting screwed cause you live in cali taxes any way 6 7 8 or 9 bucks is dirt cheap for something that you do ever 20 or 30k miles

Im going to do seafoam today, Ill check on the prices down here. it should be around $7 still.
