i used 25lb test fishing line tied to the top of the trunk

Here's what I did.
L brackets to just that flimsy floor thing, wasn't goo enough for me.
I took a 1x4 and put it across the subframe under the floor:
Made sure it still allowed the floor to sit level, so fitting and then cutting multiple times was necessary. Once I had it level, I screwed it down:
And then L brackets screwed down to the 1x4 and it is solid. Don't know if this would work for you but I love it.
