Did you take that picture of the lens? I believe it's an f/1.2 not f/1.4 like you posted. I think it weighs about 2 1/4 lbs. That's a real solid piece of glass, but I wonder why you'd bother if you're shooting them with direct flash anyways... Nice shots, though. I hate shooting in super low light.
thats a stock pic that i just googled. but the pics are mine. it could be, i didnt actually weigh it. and the lens was actually for another shoot coming up but i figured why not test it out. and that night made me realize how much i hate low light too
