And I don't want to hear anything, from a SQL noob with a degree in fappage, about my math skillz. Concern yourself with that fact that you've just moved out of a closet sized apartment, only to end up in a box sized apartment in Fullerton. Perhaps math skillz would have helped you out in making that decision....

I agree with most of the responses here, regional forums have a purpose in larger communities like vortex for example, but I think 6ga prides itself on the fact that we all hang together on these forums. It enriches the discussion and adds diverse insight to see what people in NYC and Socal think about something in the same thread. One of the core reasons I joined here was precisely because this was a collective community and not region oriented.
