Sick And Tired Of Spam Threads!!!!

The problem with the board needing to be updated is..it's going to cost Cody or someone money..around $30 I believe it is for a license renewal, might be a lot more depending on if he has a leased or owned license.

Trust me, the mods and admins (Especially me) check this site every day.
The discussion about the spam problem is being taken care of.

Speaking soley on myself, I'm on this site Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM (At work)
and probably 8-10:30PM when I'm home. Of course on the weekends the times are different.
But NOTE...Just because a mod/admin does not post DOES NOT mean we are not watching. There are times when I don't feel like logging on when I'm home, but I just go to the site and click on a few posts to see what they're about. So at the bottom of the main page when you see a "GUEST" that's viewing the site does not necessarily mean it's someone new to the board.

Lately we have been catching the spam as they come aboard, and whatever we don't catch I'd first like to thank the members who e-mail me/PM me about it. remember guys, we're here to work with you and not against you.

So on that note, I'll leave this thread open for now for discussion and/or ideas, but remember negative talking (bashing) of any mod/admin will NOT be tolerated...AT ALL

Alright well seeing that I'm on this site all the time, searching threads, deleting spam, watching for you drama freaks, and just posting my opinion to other threads, and I come to this thread. Even though we dont post, we're on here around the clock. But anyways I'll straight up and say its immature to even make a thread like this. Really, was it necessary? We have something called a PM aka "Private Message" that you can send to any four of us here at 6thgen. And I know personally I didn't get one. We are fully aware of the problem and are in the process of solving it. It would be greatly appreciative if you would drop us a PM next time you have a problem with the site instead of going straight to the board with your problems.

As Greg mentioned above me, we are tired of it as much as you guys are. We apologize for the inconvience, but at this time we're doing all we can to oust the problem. If you would like to continue talking about this, please feel free to PM me anytime. Thank you for your patience.

I am not bashing a admin/mod..remember i am one on another site so why would i do that..i only started this thread because things are getting out of control..and the best way for you guys to see it is for a new thread..yeah a pm would be nice, but i wanted all the other members to give their opinion..unless opinions aren't allowed anymore

(you too angel)..but in all fairness wildman is never on..I mean it is feb and my nov/dec ROTM is still not up,should it be that big of a deal? not really. did i drive 350 miles back home to take pictures in a rush for ROTM? Yes..so ROTM cost me about 50 bucks

Can we please just update VB, so the extra security features can be added..if it is possible..Now i am not trying to start crap or anything, i just don't want to see the forum site fall

oh and for the record it is not immature to post this thread..i just got really pissed off when members started coming to me complaining about how bad it has gotten..and that when they sign on the first few posts are some porn site..so something had to be said in the open

Lately, that's what we have been doing.
All spammers are banned and the threads are deleted.

We read and listen to everyones opinion becuase they have their right to post it. We also read and react to every PM regardless if 50 people or 1 person reports something.

I dont feel the need to explain my reasoning about the immature thing. It should be a simple PM, but it didn't work out that way, so I have to deal with it.

A PM would have been fine. If the members have a problem, then why are they going to you? Theres admins/mods on the site regularly, if theres a problem you PM us. Next time we'd appreciate it.
