hi I am a bit confused. i have a great deal on skunk 2 lowering springs for the 90-97 accord, but i have a 99 accord. The seller mentioned that he had just taken these springs off a 98 accord and said they should work fine. the seller also mentioned that only the 2 front springs were used and the 2 rear springs were not. So my question is, should i take the offer. it would cost me less than 50 bucks shipped. Also if i take these lowering springs would i be needing new struts/shocks. thanks for the help.

Seriously, your whole first sentence doesn't make sense. You have a deal on 5th gen accord springs, u have a 99 but the guy selling them has a 98. Piece all of that together for me.

Anyway, yes I would recommend aftermarket shocks if u put springs on.

the spring rates are different since these were made for 4th and 5th gens. our are a little heavier, so no, i wouldnt do, it wont ride right.

and yes, you should always buy performance shocks when you lower a car.
