he took it to a shop, and the going rate is about 300-500 depending on who you talk to. if you do it yourself, you need a full socket set, including deep sockets. you need a flywheel bolts socket, which is like a 17mm 12 point star socket i think. you need a breaker bar, a transmission jack, engine lift or strong group of friends to take on and off the tranny, and you need jacks and jack stands in order to raise the car so you can drop the tranny. its about 8 hours work at an average pace. if youve done it before, its about 5-6 hours.
