So I made myself a computer chair.
Well, I kind of took apart my old Puke green 50 year old computer chair and used the base for my new chair.
I picked up a new replica seat, for $100.00. I didn't care what brand it was as long as it would work cause I didn't want to spend a lot on this chair because if I did then I could have bought a really nice leather office chair. lol.
I was gonna remount the old arm rest, but it turns out that the armrest didn't make a difference in height because the side bolsters on this seat are just as high as the old arm rest and because there is more cushioning so the seat is higher, so I just took them off...........I don't think I'll be falling out of this seat even with no arm rest, HAHaa.
Pics time?! Nokia N80 = Bad quality Fail pics, lol.

Yes, I know its not professional, lol.
The 4 bolts on the far corners are bolted INTO the seat where the slider/ rails are supposed to be bolted to, but it didn't come with rails so I bolted a piece of wood to the bottom. I tried to look for a piece of metal but wouldn't find anything that's my size and thickness. I found some but was wayyyy over priced which cost about the price of the seat. lol.
The inner 4 bolts is what hold the hydraulic wheel support thingy to the base of the seat. There are nuts on the other side of the piece of wood which you can't see cause it's right in between the wood and seat.
I'm still gonna keep looking for a piece of metal so I can replace the wood for more support and it's more sturdy. When I do find the piece, I can just use my wooden one as a template.
