Socal people!!!! BUMP and UPDATE on first post.

Does anyone have any 'hookups' when it comes to smog tests ? CEL is on. No other options Anyone at all know someone that would ? I know of a couple, but I think $200 is just a bit much! Haha. Thanks peeps !

UPDATE 5/22/12:
So I got pulled over for exhaust. Figures. Anyone got an i4 stock axle back I can have/buy for dirt cheap/borrow ? I gotta go get it signed off at the sherriffs station Oh police officers .. they harm me more than help me

Lol you'll be lucky to get anyone to pass you under $200. Over here people pay $200-300. Never heard anyone paying less than $200.

Just scan for the code, if its a simple fix then fix it.

Usually people who usually pay to pass smog are people running no cat, no Carb stickers for their aftermarket parts, have engine performance made to the engine (cams, pistons, etc) or has motor swaps.

No point in paying $200 when you can fix it for less.

And yes Cali ftw.

Does anybody know somewhere to get sensors that send out passing signals so your ecu is fooled? I've heard of them, and my dads friend has some in his IS but I don't know where they come from.

You mean a piggyback system? Those don't work too well on our ecu's unfortunately.
