those are awesome pics ryan, i sat outside from 9 till 10:30 watching it. lol take pictures of saturn too this weekend. ugh i wish i had a really good camera.

thanks everyone it seems that a lot of people had clouds...we got lucky i guess.

the pics of saturn wont be as nice as the moon, itll just be a little dot lol...the 320mm lens is my longest technically...i have a 70-210 with a 2x converter but i think its messed up cause it doesnt look sharp.

a telescope with camera mount would be awesome

i was watching it and playing forza2 at the same time but it was so cold yesterday and couldnt stay outside for long but i did see it when it was all red

Nice man, I couldn't have taken pictures like that if I wanted to... my camera sucks at teh zoom and at teh night shots. Thanks for sharing yours though.

ryan s thats some nice color in that one shot. unfortunately it was really cloudy where im at so i didnt even get to see it. im also really sorry for highjacking but have you ever seen this shot of the moon before? i got it from a thread on V6P that had a link to another forum. its pretty sweet........
