offset is mm from center of wheel,

+55 = 55 mm from center.

SUBTRACT spacers, eg: +55-25 = +30mm, or +15-25 = -10mm

wheels WIDTH is inside the bead, a 7" wide wheel is ~7.5" outside.

backspace IS DIFFERENT than offset.

So mine, ~18x9+25, front w/ ~5mm spacer. That has ~9.5" OUTSIDE, so you get (front) ~5-1/5" to inside bead, 4" to outside.

I remember when I was trying to achieve the flush look with my oem cl-s wheels which were 17x7, But after buying a 25mm spacer and having the rear still look sunk I just gave up since I would need 35-40mm spacers to achieve that look plus really narrow tires.

Wait so that's how it looks with the CL Type S wheels and 25mm spacers?

~+20fr, +25rr

Now it's lifted ~1/2", rare problems with tire clearance.

Oem spec = 215/40-18, I went 215/45-18 for a bit of a speed change, now you should get ~55mph at ~50mph indicated (but the speedo is actually correct now).

Not sure about the quality of those spacers but from my experience, I would recommend Akata or Ichiba. Can't go wrong with either.

Oh, and Happy Holidays to you all!!

Ichiba would be ideal but I'm pretty sure the spacers I got when I bought my car are ebay and I had them on for over a year and no problems. I know someone that had extended studs and a spacers and his studs snapped on him going down the freeway. Was not pretty
