Spoon used to make stuff for the H22, but even when they were producing them, they were really hard to come by. I've met the owner of Spoon, and he's got this whole philosophy of building a whole balanced car, and not just adding random parts and hoping they all work together. You can't deny Mugen's racing heritage though. They've been everywhere from F1 to touring cars, so you know they've got the know how. A lot of their stuff seems to be meant for the road, and for sport driving though. In the end, their products are pretty pricey, but I feel you can't go wrong with either.
Seen the Spoon S2K hardtop? It's supposedly lighter than the Mugen and much cleaner aerodynamically. The fastback shape is supposed to recall the shape of one the S2K's (the S800, IIRC) predecessors according to their catalog. A friend who runs a local shop put one on for a recent time attack, and he confirms that it does help top speed a lot. Really nice looking piece, but getting to your trunk becomes a huge hassle, and even more if you have a wing.5thGenAccord said:If I had an S2k I would drop 5k on a mugen hard top, its PIMP!!![]()
