Alright well I'm getting a aem Sri and I've heard different things about installing it. I've heard you have to take off the bumper but I've also heard all it is , is a couple bolts? Suggestions and help please?

Short ram shouldn't require you to take the bumper off.
Cold air does since you'll have to remove the whole intake system including the resonator box and the extra tubing.

^you can do it without taking off the bumper cover.
its easy enough to do, i did it in about 20 minutes

Yeah diy master list only has cold air. So what all do you have to take off?

you take off the stock tubing, whole airbox.
you can take of the resonator box (tucked behind the bumper cover, right in front of the passenger side wheel) but its not entirely necessary, but it does hurt to take it out

Cmon by simply looking at your current intake you can figure out what you need to take off and replace. If you can't maybe get someone who has done one before to do it or get a shop to do it.
With your SRI you probably got a tube, a filter and a couple of clamps.
Replace the stock tubing with the one you received, take off stock tubing and place aside. Take off air filter box with flat paper air filter and place aside as well;install cone filter. Just leave the bottom part of the air box intact for now until you take the bumper off one day for something, you can take that off as well. Make sure you tighten all clamps and secure the intake tube so it doesnt move. You're done.

^ i also am installing one soon, but i noticed at the base of the stock tubing closest to the engine the is a line going to the engine attached to the tubing. what do I do about this airline or am i looking a the wrong tubingg?

yep, hook up that save vacuum line to the aftermarket intake. there should be a bung welded into the new piping for it. use a silicone vacuum hose to reach it.
