Stop Light Fuse

So i noticed my brake lights and my horn werent wrking so i checked the stop light fuse and it was blown...swapped it....remote started my car later on and it was blown again....swapped it again this time it would just blow on its own....not instantly but mayb after an hr of driving...whats goin on wit this??

agreed with maybe a short... is your remote start power wire running through that fuse in the fuse box? but if a fuse keeps blowing it is a short of some sort...

i understand and agree that it can be a short but...i first thought it was the remote start but then i once honked my horn and it cut short on me and thats when i realized it might not b my remote start....

do you have anything else added into that fuse section? you could be overloading that circuit making it pop.

when the fuse blows turn off the car, take out the fuse, check for continuity to ground in the fuse socket.

You very likely have a short somewhere, and it's probably before the brake/horn switches, otherwise it wouldn't pop until you used one of those.
