what exactly do you have in terms of specs? as far as i can tell, you havent listed anything about your setup except that you got 2 10s and a amp...
1. what is the voice coil configurations on the subs
2. specs of your amp and what class? d class? a/b class?... or at least a full model name of your amp...
3. 10gauge wires are weak sauce, im gonna assume since you got 2 10s you want some SPL... but you wont get any running those skinny wires.... 4gauge would be ideal for your infinity pro and should cover any future upgrades
also check all your connections and double check for any loose connections
thanks for the help guys i just looked up the amp and they are saying that you should use a 4ga wire and its a class d amp so to me it seems like he tried to screw me over with this set up which is strange bc he did an awsome job on my other car but i dont think i am going back to him unless he changes it to the 4ga wire like they say. this guy just screwed me over after i dumped like 2,500 dollars on my other car i might just do it all myself now. thanks guys for the help
i say.. set ur gains accordingly, upgrade power wires, make sure you got a good ground, check fuses.
maybe your cutting out because the amp is not getting enough voltage due to the wire being to small and if you gains are set really high, you are most likely clipppping the crap out of your speakers.
another thing i was thinking could be a problem is within the inside of the box, the wire connection going from the sub to the output on the side of the box. If this is not a manufacture made setup, the wire inside the box may be sliding out from the connector on the sub???
