Hi guys well Ive had my accord for a while and I think its time to go turbo! I want to be able to keep it my daily so I don't want to go with anything too crazy. My goal is 210 to 250 hp .Well my accord is a 2000 I got 3inch catback ,k&n intake and headers on f23a4 with high miles (195xxx) do you guys think I would have to rebuild head if I am trying to push 6-8 psi? And whats a good cheap turbo? Would I have to rebuild transmission? or new torque convertor? I DONT want to swap to a manual tranny. Any suggestions on ecu are apreciated! Sorry for all the questions lol thank you all!

The manual tranny is really the only thing. Autos can be built. Tougher torque converters and tranny coolers. But still won't last nor work properly.

PSI means nothing without mentioning what turbo first.

Please do some research and then if you have a more specific questions, search. If you don't find your answer, search again. What your doing gas been done plenty of times. So whatever question you could have has been answered somewhere on this site.

Good luck

You should do a little research google doesn't bite. If i were you shooting for that power goal to be extra reliable i would just buy k20 9.0:1 pistons put them in. Get a turbo kit together either pieced etc. You have options to ecu search around and see google is your friend. A walbro 255 and injectors and your set. It's not really difficult people just make it seem like its hard.

your point being? he wants to get 250whp, not pushing 10psi....upgrade to the k20 pistons. Or you can go buy some cp pistons 8.5:1 and run alot of boost to get your car to your level power goal

k20 pistons are usually used for a mild NA setup

while it's usable in a turbo setup, i'd rather get a lower comp piston

btw, k20 pistons have waay higher compression than u stated.. here's what blkcurrantaccrd stated in a different thread:

K20a3 - dome = 2.5cc - should give around 11:1 compression
K20a2 - dome = 4.25cc - mid 12's to 13:1 compression
K20a - dome = 6.6cc - highest compression 13-14:1

:)
