what i've learned from a web site about how legal lights are, its okay to have clear or white signals in front just not red ones, cause some old cars have white signals in the front so that should be no problem.

Hey zero, have you looked into the load equalizers, pretty much resisted relays for the signals. Which would you recommend if you have both rear and front signals being led? or just go with the individual resistors to each light

Well from what I remember about NYS DMV inspection, here's the breakdown for NY vehicle law concerning turn signals. The rear must be amber or red, the front can have amber or white

That is not correct. Front turn signals MUST be amber, however, front marker lights (parking lights) can be white or amber.

So technically speaking, because the switchbacks are white while on, but amber when flashing, they are legal.

A regular white bulb serving as a turn signal is not legal.

I thought it was just in the back that they had to be amber, either way, I've outwitted the law with them lol
